Winnie Ouko

Winnie, an experienced corporate finance, project finance and strategy professional, is the Managing Director of Lattice. She offers over 20 years of experience in delivering a variety of corporate finance and strategy services solutions to corporate clients in Africa and the US. She has worked with Price Waterhouse (Nairobi) , First Africa Capital and Standard Poors’ (New York). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi, an MBA from Cornell University (USA) and is a CPA (K).

Joe Maye

Joe Maye is a Director at Lattice Consulting and also heads the Lattice Training Business Development practice. He has been an advisor and consultant for financial services firms across Eastern & Central Africa. He has over 15 years of banking experience across the globe. Joe Maye has held senior leadership roles in new product development at two of Canada’s largest banks. He holds an MBA from Arizona State University and has completed Executive Education at York University in Toronto.


Lamusia brings to the team several years of professional and academic exposure within the Asia-Pacific and African markets. His experience in growth and investment strategy development and execution across various sectors makes him a fine fit for his role managing strategy and transaction project delivery. Lamusia is a Level III candidate in the CFA® Program and holds a BBA (HKUST Business School). Lamusia’s personal mission is “To be an enabler for those building Africa's future."

Nancy Mwakaba
Research Manager

Nancy Mwakaba is the Manager in charge of Research at Lattice and she specializes in qualitative research. She brings a wealth of experience having worked in social research for the last fifteen years including 3 years with Nokia Research Centre, where she coordinated research assignments in Kenya, Nigeria and Zambia. Her participation in various research assignments in Kenya and other parts of Africa has given her insight into conducting research at grass-root level, interacting closely with farmers and other actors in both rural and urban settings. This makes her experience invaluable to Lattice. She holds a BSC in Agriculture and Home Economics, and has completed course work towards an MSc in Applied Nutrition.

Financial Analyst

Meredith Njenga is a Financial Analyst at Lattice Consulting – she builds valuation models, and gives vital support in research and strategy assignments. She holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Financial Economics from Strathmore University and is Level III candidate of the CFA® Program. Meredith provides a fresh insight to the company with her background in stock market research.

General Manager

Kellen Murungi is the General Manager of Lattice’s Training. Her curiosity and personal growth orientation create the perfect background for the training practice she leads, which promises relevant, impactful learning for people in business through creative delivery and thoughtful content. She has over 8 years’ experience working with small and mid-sized enterprises as an independent financial consultant, finance coach, operations manager and portfolio manager. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University and is a CPA (K).

Business Development Executive

Michelle Ochieng is the Business Development Executive at Lattice’s Training. She has over 8 years’ experience working in Sales & Marketing for a global hospitality brand of hotels as well as multinational agencies. Tasked with developing the training business at Lattice, Michelle sells the course offerings and provides marketing and event management support. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration from USIU-Africa and is currently pursuing her Master in Business Administration from USIU.
