Winnie, an experienced corporate finance, project finance and strategy professional, is the Managing Director of Lattice. She offers over 20 years of experience in delivering a variety of corporate finance and strategy services solutions to corporate clients in Africa and the US. She has worked with Price Waterhouse (Nairobi), First Africa Capital and Standard Poors’ (New York). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi, an MBA from Cornell University (USA) and is a CPA (K).
Joe Maye, Director Lattice Consulting, brings over 15 years of leadership in the financial services sector in Canada, the United States and Kenya. Joe has advised on and directed change initiatives in financial service players across practically every country in the East African region. Joe’s advisory work covers clients across a wide variety of sectors including the fintech, agricultural sector, healthcare, the auto industry, financial services and telecommunications. Joe has an MBA from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and has completed Executive Education at York University’s Schulich School of Business in Toronto.

Mwende is a global ICT award winner with over 20-years of international development experience gained from working at local, continental and global levels with various organizations including: Mckinsey & Co, Government of Kenya, African Development Bank, Kenya Tea Development Agency and World Food Program based in Italy.
William has over 13 years progressive experience in corporate finance and investments in emerging markets including Africa, South and East Asia and South America. Before Lattice, William was a Principal in a Nairobi based Venture Capital Fund. Prior to that, William spent over 9 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). William has an MBA from Strathmore Business School.
Senior consultant & General manager- Lattice Training
Kellie brings to the team over 10 years’ experience in turnaround management, financial analysis, financial management and operations. She has worked with small and mid-sized enterprises as an independent financial consultant, finance coach, operations manager and portfolio manager. Her curiosity and personal growth orientation create the perfect background for the training practice she leads, which promises relevant, impactful learning for people in business through creative delivery and thoughtful content. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, is a certified public accountant and is currently pursuing a master’s in development finance at the University of Cape town.
Project Manager- Lattice Aqua
Bart Malaba is a civil engineer specialized in agricultural water systems. Bart has extensive experience in the agricultural sector in East-Africa and has previously worked in several East African countries. He has been involved in numerous projects spearheading agricultural interventions as well as working with large commercial farms in western Kenya to maximize their output. Currently Bart is project manager at Larive International, implementing partner of the FoodTech Africa consortium. Bart is part of the Lattice Aqua team in East Africa responsible for coordinating and implementing the aquaculture activities towards improving local fish production and strengthening the aquaculture value chain.
